Gst was launched in 01 july 2017 in India. It had based on france rule. On coming gst all taxes are deducted such as service charge, Vat tax, custom Duties, cess, Entry tax, etc. Its is being implemented after making one hundred and first amendment in the Constitution of india. Under gst make changes handover in gst council. He changes on time to time in gst act. Gst council has met 18 times till 30th june 2017 to take various decisions. It is a indirect based tax & it levied of supply of goods or service or both. Some goods are exempt on gst such as alcohol liquor, petrol,diesel,natural gas etc. It has mainly five rates 0%, 5%, 12%, 18%, 28% at GST council. It also includes the area up to 200 nautical miles inside sea for purpose of gst.
